On June 29, 2025, the Guoqiang Taichi Institute – Dubai Training Station marked its first anniversary with an unforgettable evening of performances, recognition, and celebration. Held at the Dragon Mart Badminton Court, the event brought together students, masters, honored guests, and members of the wider Tai Chi community to reflect on an incredible year of growth, learning, and unity. 

In a landmark moment for the UAE martial arts community, Guoqiang Taichi Institute – Dubai Training Station has proudly become the first-ever UAE-based Tai Chi team to win top awards at the prestigious 1st Asia Taiji Competition, organized by the Chinese Wushu Association, the most authoritative martial arts organization in China.

Our team made history by achieving:

🏆 1st Place – Yang Style 24 Form (杨氏24式太极拳)
🏆 1st Place – Yang Style General Form (杨氏太极拳传统套路)
🥉 3rd Place – Ba Fa Wu Bu (八法五步太极拳)

Among the highlights of this spectacular event was The UAE Wushu Symphony, a breathtaking performance that showcased the beauty and unity of Chinese martial arts, leaving the audience in awe.

The Guoqiang Cup 2024 Hong Kong International Wushu and Tai Chi Online Competition has come to a triumphant close, celebrating the artistry, dedication, and perseverance of martial artists from around the globe. Representing Guoqiang Taichi Academy Dubai Training Station, Master Mo Dalong (Mohamed Moghazy) and Master Maeline proudly brought honor to our lineage with remarkable achievements.

The Guoqiang Cup 2024 is a global online martial arts competition that celebrates excellence in Tai Chi and Wushu. Open to all ages, the competition features categories for International Martial Arts Masters, Youth Stars, and Children’s Stars. Participants will showcase their skills in boxing, weapon forms, and group routines. Top performers receive medals, certificates, and membership to the International Wushu Federation.
